Welcome and thank you for visiting my new website. My old website was built and managed by my web host. It allowed me to have a presence on the internet, but did not offer much in the way of up to date information for repeat visitors to the site. I wish to thank Ben Janssen of Webbosses for assisting me with the old site. He helped me get on the internet when I did not have the time, or knowledge, to do it myself. This site is designed by me and I will manage it myself. So, there is no one but me to blame for its shortcomings.
I will attempt to post new information in this newsletter monthly. The news will generally be about what I am working on at that time, or any other items that I think the visitor to this site may be interested in.
Currently, I am in the process of designing some model knives to produce. In the past, I primarily made one of a kind pieces. I believed that most customers wanted a knife unlike anyone else's. Some folks do, but I came to understand that many customers are not into the "design your own knife" concept. They just want to see what you have available, and if they like it, they will buy it. To fill the needs of those customers, I am designing model blades that can be ordered with the choice of a couple of different optional handle models. I will be completing the first examples of the new knife models and posting them on the web site soon.
I am also working on the knives required for the ABS Master Bladesmith test. I wanted to take the test in 2006, but could not find the time to complete the knives for submission at the Atlanta Blade Show. I am now aiming for testing in 2007. I had already completed the Quillion Dagger that is required by the ABS, but I have decided to make another one to submit. The dagger that I originally made is for sale and can be found on the "Knives Available" page of this site.
Thanks again for visiting my web site. I hope you enjoy it and will come back to visit again.
