Yea, I know, the newsletter is late again………….
The AG Russell Show was very good for me. I sold four knives and took orders for two. Thanks to all who purchased and ordered from me.
As always A.G., Goldie and the Russell staff did an excellent job of running and managing the show.
Among the knives that I completed in the last month is a liner-locking folding dagger. The knife is pictured on the “Gallery” page.
I am currently working on knives for the ABS Expo. I expect that most of the knives that will be on my table will be custom orders that are sold. In the works are a damascus sub-hilt fighter and a large damascus dagger. I hope to get some knives made to sell at the show, but with only three weeks to go……..
My engraving is going well too. I am doing a lot of practice sketching to improve my skills at creating artwork to engrave. I’ve found that the artwork is the most difficult part of learning to engrave for me.
I took delivery of a leather stitching machine last week. I need to learn how to use it too. I hope that it will reduce the time required to make sheaths for my knives.
Time is short and so will be this newsletter. Have a great August!!!
