I hope everyone had a great Labor Day weekend. Saturday night, Mary and I sent all of our kids and their spouses out for a night on the town. Mary and I watched all seven of the Grandchildren while they were out. A good time was had by all, I believe.
The A.G. Russell Show was a fine event. I expect that this will become one of the premier knife shows in the country. The A. G. Russell staff did a great job of hosting the event. The venue for the show and the accommodations at the Embassy Suites were excellent.
I recently finished a folding dagger. The knife has a damascus blade, damascus bolsters and mammoth ivory handle scales. The liners are titanium and have been blue anodized. The mechanism is a liner lock. This is the first liner lock knife that I have made. A photo of the knife is on the Gallery Page.
I am currently working on a few knives for the KGA show and the Spirit of Steel show. These will be some of my standard model knives. I hope to complete a couple of Cimarron hunters, maybe a bowie and a couple of folders. Whatever I have left from the KGA and SOS shows will be what I will take to the CTGCA show in Wichita, KS.
Hope to see some of you at the KGA Show, or Spirit of Steel Show!
